Getting started
What is SocialBriefly? +
SocialBriefly is a report-based social media monitoring service. It creates free snapshots and monthly social media reports from public business profiles on social media platforms. Reports can help you track competitors, compare similar businesses, monitor category leaders, and review recent public activity without checking each platform manually.
Do I need a credit card for the free snapshot? +
No. The free snapshot does not require a credit card. If the report is useful, you can choose a monthly plan later.
What happens after I request a free snapshot? +
SocialBriefly reviews the request and replies with setup instructions. You can then send the public social media profiles to include. After the snapshot is created, the report link is sent by email. If the report is useful, you can choose whether to continue with a monthly plan.
Reports and data
What does the free snapshot include? +
The free snapshot is a baseline report. It may include public audience position, recent public posts, visible engagement, top-performing content, publishing activity, keywords, hashtags, calls to action, and report scope notes. The exact content depends on the public social media profiles submitted and the data available from each platform.
Which platforms can SocialBriefly review? +
The standard platforms are Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Reports only use public social media profile information and public content that is available from the supported platforms.
Do you access private accounts or internal analytics? +
No. SocialBriefly does not access private accounts, DMs, login-gated information, or internal analytics dashboards. Standard reports are based on public social media profile information only.
Can I monitor larger brands instead of only competitors? +
Yes. You choose the public social media profiles to monitor. A report group can include direct competitors, similar local businesses, larger category leaders, inspiration brands, or a focused mix. Reports are usually clearest when each group contains broadly similar social media profiles.
How are social media profiles counted? +
One social media profile means one public profile on one platform. For example, one business tracked on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok counts as 3 social media profiles.
Can the first snapshot show follower growth or momentum? +
Usually no. The first snapshot creates a baseline from the public data available at that time. Recurring reports can show audience and profile changes since the previous snapshot when matching data is available.
Plans and delivery
What are separate monthly reports? +
Separate monthly reports are separate report pages for different report groups. For example, one report can cover local competitors and another can cover category leaders, or different reports can cover different locations, brands, or markets.
Separate monthly reports are sent together once per month. They do not mean weekly or multiple delivery dates.
Is SocialBriefly a dashboard? +
No. SocialBriefly is report-based. Reports are sent by email so you do not need to log into another dashboard or learn another software tool.
How long do report links stay available? +
Free snapshots and sample report links are generally available for at least 30 days after delivery. Paid monthly report links are generally available for at least 6 months, while custom and one-time report links are generally available for at least 3 months unless agreed otherwise. If you need longer availability, ask before purchase or delivery. See the Terms of Service for full details.
What is the refund policy for monthly plans? +
Lite, Starter, and Plus payments are eligible for a full refund if you request it before the applicable report is delivered or within 7 calendar days after the report link or report links are sent. The refund applies to the most recent billing period and normally cancels the subscription. See the Terms of Service for full details.
How much does it cost? +
The free snapshot is $0. Current monthly plans are Lite Plan at $5/month, Starter Plan at $9/month, and Plus Plan at $19/month. Custom Plan pricing depends on scope, social media profile count, report cadence, and setup needs.
