Overview
SocialBriefly is operated by Mara Digiserv SRL. SocialBriefly provides free social media snapshots, monthly social media reports, one-time reports, custom reports, and related reporting services based on public business and social media profile information. By using this website, submitting a request, receiving a report, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Company details
Mara Digiserv SRL, 1st Street, no. 207, Tautii Magheraus, MM, Romania. Trade Register no.: J24/89/18.01.2024. Fiscal code: 49433708.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to request reports on behalf of yourself, your business, or your organization.
Service description
SocialBriefly reviews public social media profiles and prepares reports that may include public audience position, recent public posts, visible engagement, top-performing content, publishing activity, keywords, hashtags, calls to action, report scope notes, and changes since a previous snapshot where matching baseline data is available.
The exact report contents depend on the plan, the selected public social media profiles, platform availability, public data returned by supported sources, and the report setup agreed for the request.
Some reports may be one-time or custom reports with a different platform scope, social media profile count, review depth, delivery cadence, or report format agreed before the work begins.
Free snapshots
Free snapshots are offered subject to availability, current service coverage, and review of the request. We may accept, decline, pause, or discontinue a free snapshot request if it is outside the current service scope, technically infeasible, abusive, risky, or unsuitable.
A free snapshot is intended to show what the service can provide. It does not require a credit card and does not obligate you to purchase a paid plan.
Monthly reports and report groups
Paid plans may include one or more separate monthly reports. Separate monthly reports are separate report pages for different report groups, such as different locations, brands, markets, competitor groups, or category-leader groups.
Separate monthly reports are sent together once per month. They do not mean weekly or multiple delivery dates.
Before payment, we confirm the expected delivery date of your first paid report. Later reports are delivered approximately once per month on the assigned schedule. Delivery may shift slightly around weekends, holidays, social media profile availability, or report review needs.
Public information only
Reports are intended to use public business and social media profile information. We do not promise access to private accounts, DMs, login-gated data, internal analytics, or complete historical records.
You should not submit private, confidential, login-gated, sensitive, or unlawful information about competitors, category leaders, inspiration brands, or other third parties.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that the business information, social media profile links, report groups, spreadsheets, instructions, and other materials you provide are lawful for you to provide and use. You should not request monitoring or reporting that would violate applicable law, third-party rights, confidentiality obligations, or platform terms.
You are responsible for reviewing setup details, social media profile lists, and report groups for accuracy before reports are generated.
Requests, setup, and social media profile lists
After you submit a request, we may ask for additional setup information, social media profile links, spreadsheets, report group details, or clarifications. We may decline or delay a report if required setup information is missing, unclear, unavailable, or outside the selected plan limits.
If a submitted social media profile is private, unavailable, incorrect, unsupported, or not suitable for the report, we may ask for clarification or exclude it from the report.
Report limitations
Social media platforms and data sources can limit, change, remove, delay, hide, round, or omit information. Reports may contain incomplete data, unavailable fields, estimated or rounded values, or analysis based only on visible public information available at the time of collection.
Metrics are not independently audited by SocialBriefly and should be treated as directional business information. Metrics from different platforms may not be directly comparable.
Reports are provided "as is" and "as available" based on public information available at the time of collection. We do not guarantee that reports will be error-free, complete, accurate, current, or available for every selected social media profile.
You are responsible for reviewing report data and verifying any figures that are important to your decisions.
We do not guarantee follower growth, engagement, leads, revenue, rankings, sales, content performance, or any other business outcome from using the website, reports, or service.
SocialBriefly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any monitored business, social media platform, or third-party data source unless expressly stated.
Review and corrections
You should review reports promptly and tell us about material issues within 7 days. If a report contains a material error caused by our setup or processing, we will review the issue and may correct or regenerate the affected report where reasonable.
Requests for changes outside the agreed scope, selected plan, submitted social media profile list, or available public data may require additional work, a future report cycle, or a separate quote.
Report availability and retention
Free snapshots and sample report links are generally kept available for at least 30 days after delivery. Paid monthly report links are generally kept available for at least 6 months after delivery, unless agreed otherwise. Custom or one-time report availability may be agreed separately; if not, we generally keep those report links available for at least 3 months after delivery.
After the applicable availability period, we may remove, archive, restrict access to, or stop hosting old reports. We may also remove or restrict access earlier if continued access creates legal, technical, security, privacy, or operational concerns.
Payments, subscriptions, invoices, and cancellation
Prices and limits for standard paid plans (Lite, Starter, and Plus) are shown on the website. Before you pay for a one-time or custom report, we will confirm the report scope, total price and currency, expected delivery timing, and whether the payment is one-time or recurring. Payments may be processed through a third-party payment provider.
Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. The payment method used for the subscription is charged automatically on each billing date.
To cancel a paid subscription, email hello@socialbriefly.com. Cancellation requests should be sent at least 3 business days before the next billing date to allow time for processing. Cancellation stops future billing and future report cycles.
Standard monthly plans include a 7-day satisfaction period. Payments for the Lite, Starter, and Plus Plans are eligible for a full refund if you request it by email before the applicable report is delivered or within 7 calendar days after the report link or report links are sent. You do not need to provide a reason.
A satisfaction refund applies only to the most recent billing period. Unless we agree otherwise, issuing the refund also cancels the subscription and stops future billing and report cycles. Previous billing periods and reports delivered more than 7 calendar days before the refund request are not refundable, unless required by law.
If we cannot provide a paid report for a billing period, we will refund the affected payment or, with your agreement, apply it as a credit to a future report. Duplicate or incorrect charges will be refunded after verification. We may also issue refunds or credits outside these conditions at our discretion.
For paid customers, the official invoice may be sent separately from any payment-provider receipt or confirmation.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information, including company details, tax details, VAT information, or other invoice details where applicable.
Prices are stated in the currency shown on the website or payment page. The total amount payable to SocialBriefly will be shown before payment. We do not add payment-provider or card-processing fees. Your bank or card provider may independently apply currency-conversion or other charges under its own terms. Applicable VAT treatment and invoice details depend on the customer's location and tax status.
If a payment fails, is disputed, is reversed, or remains unpaid, we may pause future report work, suspend paid service access, withhold future report delivery, or stop the subscription until the issue is resolved.
One-time reports and custom reports are non-refundable once work has started, unless required by law or agreed otherwise. We may choose to issue a refund or credit at our discretion.
Consumer right of withdrawal
If you purchase the service as a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to you remain unaffected by these Terms. Consumers in the EU, EEA, or UK may have a 14-day right to withdraw from certain service contracts, beginning on the date the contract is concluded.
To exercise an applicable right of withdrawal, email hello@socialbriefly.com before the withdrawal period expires and clearly state that you want to withdraw from the contract. You do not need to provide a reason.
If you expressly request that we begin providing the service during the withdrawal period and then withdraw before the service has been fully performed, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the service already provided, where permitted by law.
You may lose the right of withdrawal after the service has been fully performed only where you expressly requested or consented to performance beginning during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that full performance would result in losing that right, where required by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
No professional advice
Reports are for general business and marketing information only. They are not legal, financial, compliance, tax, advertising, or professional advice.
Intellectual property and permitted use
We retain rights to the SocialBriefly website, templates, branding, software, report structure, and service materials. You retain rights to materials you submit.
You may use reports we provide for your own business, project, research, planning, marketing, internal review, or client service purposes, provided you comply with these Terms and applicable law.
Unless agreed otherwise for a specific report or account, you may share reports with your team, contractors, advisors, agency, or clients as part of your own work or services.
Reports may display or reference public third-party posts, captions, titles, images, videos, logos, trademarks, and social media profile information for monitoring, comparison, and analysis. Rights in third-party content remain with their respective owners. The permissions above to use and share reports do not transfer ownership of third-party content or grant separate permission to extract or reuse that content independently of the report, including by copying, republishing, distributing, adapting, or commercially exploiting it, except where permitted by law or authorized by the applicable rights holder. You are responsible for ensuring that your use, sharing, export, or processing of report data and third-party content, including use with AI or other third-party tools, complies with applicable law, platform terms, and third-party rights.
Confidentiality
We will treat non-public information you provide as confidential and use it to provide the service, communicate with you, maintain records, issue invoices, and comply with legal obligations. You should not submit sensitive confidential information unless it is necessary for the request.
Prohibited use
You must not use SocialBriefly to request unlawful monitoring, attempt unauthorized access, collect or process personal data unlawfully, submit malicious content, infringe third-party rights, or use reports in a way that violates applicable law, platform terms, or third-party rights.
You must not scrape, crawl, overload, spam, interfere with, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the website, forms, reports, hosting, systems, or service infrastructure without our written permission.
Third-party platforms and links
Reports may refer to third-party businesses, social media platforms, websites, posts, videos, profile links, or other external sources. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, platform policies, platform availability, deleted content, changed metrics, broken links, or external websites.
Service availability and refusal
We may refuse, pause, limit, or stop providing the website, a free snapshot, a report, or a paid service if a request appears unlawful, abusive, technically infeasible, risky, outside current service coverage, outside plan limits, unpaid, or otherwise unsuitable.
External events
We are not responsible for delays, interruptions, missing data, or failure to provide part of the service caused by events outside our reasonable control, including social media platform changes, data provider outages, hosting issues, email delivery problems, payment provider issues, internet failures, legal restrictions, holidays, or other operational disruptions.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SocialBriefly and Mara Digiserv SRL harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your submitted information, your requested report scope, your use of reports, your violation of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your infringement of third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialBriefly and Mara Digiserv SRL are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or business losses arising from use of the website, reports, or service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when the latest changes were made. Continued use of the website or service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
